I am an International Journalism MA student at City, University of London. This is where I have been developing strong multimedia storytelling skills, including audio production, video editing, and print.
I have experience with Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro, and particularly enjoy audio and written work. I chose to specialise in print journalism, honing my ability to write news stories, features, columns, profiles, and reviews. I believe that strong writing is the foundation of any successful journalist.
I am really excited to be the social media editor for our MAIJ 2025 magazine, The Offset. This is a climate publication that challenges climate doomerism and counters misinformation. The magazine launches in May 2025, and it's been a great opportunity to simulate a real newsroom environment. I'm currently learning InDesign as part of the production process.
This June, I’ll be walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, reporting on the trail’s growing issues with overcrowding for my final long-read project. I hope it will be a return to the roots of journalism: immersive, observational, and initially created with nothing but a pad and pen. I’m excited to explore how global travel trends are reshaping this historic pilgrimage.
After this, my long-term is plan to move to Canada. This is both to satisfy my taste for adventure and to push myself to make a new life, and journalism career, somewhere different.
This is where you can see my exciting work with The Offset Magazine.
